Industrial Processing Business in Shropshire is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on automated machinery, fault find, strip down and install new equipment as required.

This role operates on a 4-on/4-off rotational days and nights pattern with overtime opportunities, offering a strong earning potential within a supportive, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineering experience (mechanically biased).
• Level 3+ in an engineering discipline.
• Ability to perform both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Industrial manufacturing or forces background (REME / Navy / RAF).

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance engineering across a range of automated machinery.
• Mechanical fault finding and repair.
• Stripping down of machinery and installing new machinery when required.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with H&S legislation.
• Working alongside a cross-sectional team of skilled engineers.
• Reporting into the Engineering Supervisor.

A well-known and highly successful business based in the heart of Shropshire are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Working within this industrial scale environment, you will be providing both reactive and planned preventative support within a team environment. Fault finding and repairing a variety of industrial machinery, this opportunity will suit a proactive engineer who is motivated by working within a technically challenging environment!
