Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing site in Telford, Shropshire. You will be responsible for maintenance, repair and breakdown tasks on a variety of equipment, with a focus on minimising production downtime.

The role operates a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (days & nights). The salary is £44,950 plus benefits, reflecting the demanding nature of the position within a market-leading operation.

Qualifications

• Worked within a manufacturing environment previously.
• Mechanical or Electrical qualifications ideally to NVQ Level 3.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and safe systems to work.
• Desirable CMMS systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, repair and breakdown duties on equipment to minimise downtime.
• Monitor and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment.
• Plan and prioritise workloads to ensure efficient maintenance activities.

• Clued up on Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and safe systems to work.

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Knowledge of CMMS systems.
