Job summary

Catering is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a double days shift pattern at their Telford facility. You will perform planned preventative maintenance and breakdown coverage across mechanical and electrical systems, reading electrical and mechanical drawings and working with PLCs and robots.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of relevant experience and apprentice training is preferred. This permanent role offers stability within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in maintenance roles.
• Apprentice training preferred where possible.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of PLCs and robotics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Provide mechanical/electrical breakdown cover on site.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of PLCs and robotic systems on the line.

Maintenance Engineer – Double Days

A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Maintenance department with the appointment of a Maintenance Engineer.

As Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance work in line with the schedule and processes.

Working from their manufacturing facility, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Planned preventative maintenance
• Mechanical/electrical breakdown cover for all activities on site
• Ability to read and understand both electrical and mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of PLC's
• Knowledge of Robots

The successful candidate should have a minimum of two years experience and apprentice trained preferred.

Salary: £44400/annum
