Job summary

Eko Talent is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a market-leading manufacturing client in Scotland. You will maintain production machinery, respond to breakdowns, and carry out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise performance.

The role involves working on mechanical and electrical equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated machinery, with a Monday–Friday pattern and £55,000 basic plus overtime.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively.
• Maintain a range of production equipment including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated machinery.
• Work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Support continuous improvement projects to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Assist production teams with machine faults, changeovers, and equipment set‑ups when required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
