Job description

Position: Press Customer Service Manager

Location: Milton Keynes, MK5 8HL

Work patterns: Monday-Friday, Day time hours (09:00-17:30)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Closing Date: 6th May, 2025

What does the role entail?
  • Delivering all new product launches for the VWG brand
  • Acting as the main point of escalation for service issues and problem-solving, maintaining communication with the brand
  • Training and developing a team of Press Specialists and Administrators
  • Collaborating with operations and logistics to ensure high levels of customer service during the booking process
  • Providing consultation and proactive fleet management, striving for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Account management with clear and effective communication with customers
  • Coordinating operational meetings to discuss priorities and objectives
  • Conducting regular 1:1s, setting targets, and supporting employee development
  • Managing stakeholder relationships with workshop, body shop, logistics, valeting, and other departments

  • Automotive sector experience or knowledge (desirable but not essential)
  • People management experience, managing stakeholder and customer expectations

  • Commercial and financial awareness
  • Ability to implement best practices and processes
  • Keen eye for detail
