Job summary

TeamJobs are recruiting for a Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator / Workshop Operative in Poole. The role involves running CNC presses, trimming aluminium and galvanised metal, and producing bespoke profiles from client drawings.

Qualifications

• Previous sheet metal fabrication experience is essential.
• Experience operating Press Brakes and Guillotines.
• Ability to confidently read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good Health & Safety awareness.
• A positive, hands-on attitude.
• Experience with CNC Turret Punches, fibre laser cutting or powder coating would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operating CNC machinery including Press Brakes, Guillotines and Turret Punches.
• Producing aluminium and galvanised metal trims and flashings.
• Manufacturing bespoke profiles from customer specifications and technical drawings.
• Checking finished products meet the required quality and specification.
• Supporting other areas of the workshop when required.
• Ensuring machinery and working areas are maintained safely.

Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator / Workshop Operative - Poole - £30,000

TeamJobs are working with a well-established manufacturing company in Poole who are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator / Workshop Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.

Hours:

• Monday - Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm


• Friday 8:30am-4:00pm


• 39.5 hours per week

The Role:
