Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Operative and CNC Press Brake Operator for a permanent role in Willand. You will read drawings, operate CNC press brakes, guillotines, rollers and punching machines to manufacture sheet metal parts to spec.

You will measure and cut accurately, ensure high-quality finishes and work efficiently to hit production targets in a friendly, supportive environment. Salary ranges £30,000-£35,000 with overtime available, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator.
• Experience with CNC-controlled brakes.
• Experience folding stainless steel, galvanised, aluminium and steel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture sheet metal parts and components.
• Use a variety of tools and machinery, including CNC, press brakes, rollers, guillotines and punching machines.
• Measure and cut sheet metal accurately according to specifications.
• Check the quality of finished products, ensuring they meet high standards.
• Work efficiently and independently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Set and operate CNC press brakes, working to tight tolerances.

What We Offer

• £30,000-£35,000 salary based on a 40-hour week.

• Saturday overtime paid at time and a half.
