Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a permanent CNC Brake Press Sheet Metal Operator in Willand/Cullompton area. The role covers operating CNC press brakes, interpreting drawings, and producing parts with precision. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, with overtime options.

Salary ranges £33,000-£36,000 depending on experience. A supportive, stable manufacturing environment with opportunities for overtime and progression is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator
• Experience with CNC-controlled brakes
• Experience folding stainless steel, galvanised, aluminium and steel is preferred
• Great attention to detail
• Passion for sheet metal fabrication

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture sheet metal parts and components
• Use a variety of tools and machinery, including CNC, press brakes, rollers, guillotines and punching machines
• Measure and cut sheet metal accurately according to specifications
• Check the quality of finished products, ensuring they meet high standards
• Work efficiently and independently to meet production targets and deadlines
• Set and operate CNC press brakes, working to tight tolerances

What We Offer

• £30,000-£35,000 salary based on a 40-hour week.


• Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.


• Overtime available at flat rate during the week.


• Saturday overtime paid at time and a half.
