Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is hiring a Sheet Metal Operative/CNC Press Brake Operator in Willand. The role offers a permanent opportunity, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with overtime.

You will read technical drawings, operate CNC press brakes and related machinery, and ensure high-quality parts meet specifications. Experience with stainless steel, galvanized, aluminium and steel preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator is essential.
• Experience with CNC-controlled brakes.
• Experience folding stainless steel, galvanised, aluminium and steel is preferred.
• Great attention to detail and passion for sheet metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture sheet metal parts and components.
• Use a variety of tools and machinery including CNC, press brakes, rollers, guillotines and punching machines.
• Measure and cut sheet metal accurately according to specifications.
• Check the quality of finished products meeting high standards.
• Work efficiently and independently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Set and operate CNC press brakes, working to tight tolerances.

What We Offer

• £30,000-£35,000 salary based on a 40-hour week.

• Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

• Overtime available at flat rate during the week.

• Saturday overtime paid at time and a half.
