The role supports students with a variety of needs within the SEND Team, collaborating with the SENCO to enable access to the curriculum in mainstream lessons or in targeted interventions.

Hours are 37 per week, term time plus training days, with CPD opportunities and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND students.
• Ability to communicate effectively with young people.
• Experience in an education setting.

Responsibilities

• Support students with a variety of needs to access the curriculum.
• Work with the SEND Team and SENCO on planning interventions.
• Assist in mainstream lessons or in groups/1:1 interventions outside the classroom.
