Job summary

Randstad Staffing is hiring a SEN Teaching Assistant for a permanent role in Horsham. You will support children aged 5 to 16 with complex needs, providing 1:1 and small group support to access the curriculum.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:00 during term time, with on-site meals, parking and a structured progression program. A DBS check will be required before start.

Responsibilities

• Supporting complex SEN learners on a 1:1 and small group basis throughout the day.

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom prep, and maintaining a smooth learning environment.
• Supervising pupils during break times and lunchtimes to promote social interaction.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English at pass grade (Grade C/4 or equivalent).
