Manor Church of England Academy in Nether Poppleton is seeking an Advanced Teaching Assistant to support teachers, SENCO and inclusion staff. You will plan, deliver and evaluate learning activities, support pupils individually and in groups, and help implement interventions to boost social, emotional and academic growth.
The role involves contributing to classroom planning, supervising activities and fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Teaching Assistant to work closely with teachers, SENCO, and inclusion staff to plan, deliver, and evaluate learning activities across the school. You will support individuals and groups of pupils, help implement interventions, and contribute to their social, emotional, and academic growth.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference, assisting in classroom planning, supervising learning activities, and fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. You will also support the induction and development of classroom support staff, helping to share best practice across the school.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, strong communication and behaviour management skills, and a commitment to inclusion, equality, and safeguarding.
