Job summary

Bishopswood School in England is seeking caring Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SLD, PMLD and ASD across classrooms and school activities.

You will assist with learning activities, therapy programmes and IEP targets, support enrichment activities, and provide personal care when needed; experience with EHCPs is desirable. A warm, collaborative team environment is offered with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and maths (Grade 4/C or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting children or young people (school, care, youth work etc.).
  • Experience with children or young people with EHCPs or additional needs (desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with learning activities, therapy programmes and IEP targets.
  • Support enrichment activities (swimming, PE, community visits, horse riding).
  • Provide personal and intimate care when needed.
