Job summary

Suntory Global Spirits is seeking a Visitor Centre Assistant at Bowmore to welcome visitors and deliver a premium brand experience. You will learn the distillery's history, host tours and tastings, and support in-branch retail activities while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Reporting to the Visitor Centre Manager, you will work across hosting, stock checks, banking, and administrative tasks, contributing to annual goals and upholding H&S practices in a busy, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, retail or tourism is desirable.
• Current driving license is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication and ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Deep knowledge of Suntory Global Spirits brands and company values.
• Energetic, customer-focused with storytelling ability.
• Strong teamwork, initiative and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead distillery tours and tastings, delivering high-quality service.
• Host groups in the visitor centre, retail shop and tasting bar.
• Open and close premises and manage daily banking and diary.
• Respond to customer emails and process sales orders.
• Collaborate with Visitor Centre Manager to set annual goals.
• Ensure facilities are clean and safety standards are followed.
