Job summary

Howden is seeking a Premium Processing Team Leader to oversee a team of Technicians dedicated to specific product lines. You will supervise operational tasks, ensure exceptional service, and act as the primary contact for team queries.

You will coordinate technical support, manage projects, and assist in document processing while maintaining strict regulatory compliance and quality standards in a fast-paced insurance environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths required
• A-Levels or equivalent desirable
• Progression towards professional qualifications is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical support within the team, ensuring workflow aligns with standards.
• Lead projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the creation and processing of client and broking documents (slips, quotes, endorsements) with accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain meticulous records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor team output to uphold service and quality standards; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide technical assistance to the broking team to enable smooth operations.
• Act as escalation point for team queries and urgent issues.
• Train and mentor junior team members to support professional growth.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business units and clients to enhance collaboration.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory obligations.
