Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Bath is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / German Specialist to join a family-run independent garage serving premium, luxury and high-performance European cars.

You will perform specialist repairs, routine servicing, diagnostics and MOTs, using high-spec software. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, on-site parking, and clear progression within a respected workshop.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• High-spec German platforms experience is advantageous.
• F-Gas certification preferred or interest in obtaining it.
• Full UK driving licence required; MOT Tester licence preferred but not required.
• Own hand tools and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist repairs, routine servicing, maintenance and MOT inspections on premium vehicles.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and fault finding using high-spec software.
• Maintain quality control and safety standards on every job.
• Work efficiently to keep workshop flow in a high-demand environment.
• Collaborate with a team of technicians during growth.
