Job summary

Läderach (Schweiz) AG is seeking a Store Manager for one of our premium retail locations in the UK. You will lead by example on the shop floor, drive a superb customer experience, and coach a high-performing team to deliver best-in-class service.

You will manage day-to-day operations, monitor KPIs, place orders, schedule staff, ensure food safety, and uphold visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines. A hands-on, ambitious leader with passion for fine food is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in premium or luxury retail.
• Enjoys interacting with customers and sets a best-in-class example for the team.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs (e.g., conversion rate, ATV).
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and solution-focused mindset.
• Ambitious and results-driven with ability to grow team and business.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and delegate.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays when required.
• Proficient in MS Office and POS systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Passionate about chocolate and fine foods.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and manage the store in their absence.
• Lead by example on the shop floor to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Motivate, mentor, and coach sales associates.
• Train and onboard a winning team.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations and staffing.
• Ensure food safety protocols and regulatory requirements are observed.
• Place weekly and seasonal orders and maintain stock levels.
• Schedule staff to optimise service and cost management.
• Oversee stockroom storage and FIFO; maintain brand visuals.
