Job summary

Läderach UK is seeking a customer-focused Retail Associate to deliver exceptional service in our chocolate shop in Bicester. You will advise customers, assist in product selection, and handle transactions while keeping a welcoming display.

The role requires fluent German and English, weekend availability, and a passion for high-quality chocolate. You'll work with a friendly team and uphold hygiene standards in a prime retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and passion for sales and direct customer contact.
• Ability to recognise customer needs and provide friendly, personalised advice.
• Strong German and English skills; knowledge of French is an advantage.
• Work responsibly, reliably and with a focus on quality, while complying with hygiene standards.
• Team player, able to take on responsibility and develop skills in sales and customer service.
• Flexible and available to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-oriented advice and sell our diverse product range, for example by supporting customers in selecting gifts
• Actively engage with customers, identify their needs and offer suitable solutions
• Handle cash register operations and ensure precise and accurate cash reconciliation
• Present our confectionery and chocolate range in an appealing and inviting way
• Carry out production-related tasks as well as replenishing and maintaining the sales areas
• Implement our high quality standards with dedication and care
• Consistently ensure compliance with our hygiene and freshness concept
• Work closely with your team and contribute to a positive working environment
