Interaction Engineering is seeking a skilled Laser Welder/Finisher to join a busy production and fabrication team. The role focuses on precision welds, finishing thin-gauge sheet metal, and adhering to strict safety procedures. Experience with handheld laser welders and good drawing interpretation are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in TIG welding or sheet metal fabrication is desirable.
• Experience using handheld laser welding equipment would be a major advantage.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• A reliable, hands-on approach with a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operating handheld laser welding equipment to produce precise welds.
• Welding thin-gauge sheet metal and components.
• Setting and adjusting laser parameters to suit materials/specifications.
• Preparing, aligning and securing components for welding.
• Inspecting finished welds to ensure quality.
• Following health and safety procedures when operating laser welding equipment.
