Job summary

Interaction Engineering in the UK is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our workshop team. You will fabricate, weld, and finish bespoke corten steel products from technical drawings and ensure high-quality workmanship.

You will work with modern equipment in a friendly, supportive environment that values craftsmanship and safety. This full-time role offers overtime opportunities and ongoing training within a growing specialist manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
• Strong MIG welding skills.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding and fabrication of steel products.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Cutting, grinding, drilling, and preparing materials.
• Fabricating bespoke products to tight tolerances.
• Carrying out quality checks throughout production.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Working collaboratively with the production team to meet production deadlines.
• Assisting with continuous improvements in manufacturing processes.
