Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD in Mansfield is seeking a Paint Prepper & Paint Sprayer for their workshop. The role involves preparing forklift trucks and components for painting, ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for a high-quality finish.

You will strip and reassemble panels, work with 2-pack paint, and maintain a safe, organized workshop. This full-time, permanent position offers standard hours, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, on-site parking, and a Workplace pension.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has experience in paint preparation, industrial/vehicle painting or similar environments.
• Solid understanding of surface preparation and spraying techniques.
• Experience with 2-pack paint is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspect surfaces for contamination and imperfections before painting.
• Remove wheels, panels or components as needed for painting.
• Prepare and spray forklifts and components using 2-pack paint.
• Reassemble components after painting and testing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop.
