Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Paint Prepper & Paint Sprayer for their Mansfield workshop. The role focuses on preparing forklift trucks, attachments and components for painting, ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for a high-quality finish.

The ideal candidate has experience in paint preparation or industrial vehicle painting, can work independently to tight schedules, and is comfortable doing basic mechanical tasks such as tyre changes.

Qualifications

• Experience in paint preparation, industrial painting or vehicle painting.
• Strong eye for surface preparation and spray techniques.
• Experience using 2-pack paint is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare surfaces for painting and ensure cleanliness and smooth finish.
• Mask, degrease, sand and prime surfaces prior to painting.
• Operate spray equipment in a workshop environment and maintain safety standards.
• Reassemble components after painting and maintain clean, organized workstation.
