Proactive Global in Hitchin is seeking an experienced Cylindrical Grinder for a permanent role at a market-leading manufacturing company. You will set up and operate the cylindrical grinding machine, with progression opportunities available.
The role requires competence in external diameter grinding and accuracy with micrometres, Vernier calipers, bore gauges and dial indicators; IT skills are also required for general shop-floor systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in external diameter grinding and using precise measuring tools (micrometres, Vernier callipers, bore gauges, dial indicators).
- Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- IT competent (general use).
