Job summary

Innovative Tooling Solutions is seeking a skilled CNC Grinder to join its manufacturing team. You will set, operate, and program CNC Surface and Cylindrical grinding machines, ensuring parts meet customer specifications with traceability throughout the process.

Expect a competitive wage depending on experience, with a two-week shift rotation. Staff benefits include a generous holiday entitlement, a 5% employer pension contribution and life assurance, commensurate with length of service.

Qualifications

• Time served CNC Grinder.
• Knowledge of Jones & Shipman machines and control systems.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement production policies in line with business plan.
• Set, operate and run CNC Surface Grinders and Manual Surface/Cylindrical Grinding machines.
• Set, operate and program CNC control system.
• Ensure traceability and correct identification of components.
• Improve productivity and efficiency.
• Adhere to LEAN manufacturing and health & safety procedures.
• Identify production related issues proactively.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
