Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an Assembly Operative in Whitstable to join our client’s growing production team. You will assemble a range of products to required quality standards and within set timescales, following SOPs.

Responsibilities include in-process quality checks, packaging, reading drawings and specifications, and operating machinery as needed. You will work independently and as part of a team, maintaining high attention to detail and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and process instructions
• Carry out in-process quality inspections and documentation checks
• Follow SOPs and maintain high quality standards
• Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Clear English and Maths skills for instructions and records

Responsibilities

• Consistently assemble products to a high-quality standard using SOPs
• Carry out in-process quality inspections
• Bag and package products per documentation
• Read and understand drawings, manufacturing instructions, process documents and specs
• Operate relevant machinery, including semi-automated equipment
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and company guidelines
• Support the wider production team and carry out other duties as reasonably requested
