Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited in Whitstable is seeking an Assembly Operative to join our client’s growing production team. This role suits someone with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will assemble products to required standards, read and follow drawings and SOPs, perform in-process quality checks, and assist with packaging and maintaining health and safety procedures. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Good level of English and maths, both written and verbal
• Ability to follow written instructions and processes accurately
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good hand dexterity and eye-to-hand coordination
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high standards
• Able to stay focused and work efficiently to deadlines and targets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Hardworking and dependable attitude

Responsibilities

• Consistent assembly of products to a high-quality standard using SOPs
• Carrying out in-process quality inspections
• Bagging and packaging products in line with documentation
• Reading and understanding drawings, manufacturing instructions, process documentation, and specifications
• Operating relevant machinery, including semi-automated equipment where required
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company guidelines
• Supporting the wider production team and carrying out other duties as reasonably requested
