Job summary

The Project is seeking a reliable Production Operative in Burton upon Trent to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will assemble and prepare smart hot water cylinders, conduct quality checks and ensure every unit meets our standards before dispatch.

The role requires attention to detail, following set processes, and working well with others. Ideal candidates have experience on production lines or in related settings, with good communication and a proactive, punctual approach to meet

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly line, production or engineering environments.
• Able to use hand tools and basic production machinery safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capable of following technical instructions and SOPs.
• Experience with product inspections or quality checks.
• Good communication and positive team attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare hot water cylinders on a production line.
• Fit Temperature & Pressure relief valves with specialist tools.
• Perform quality inspections and leak tests on final products.
• Follow assembly instructions and standard procedures precisely.
• Identify and report defects or quality concerns.
• Repackage, label and prepare finished products for dispatch.
• Handle materials safely throughout the process.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace.
• Contribute to daily production targets while upholding quality.
