Job summary

XMA is seeking a Service Solutions Consultant for a hybrid role based in Reading or Nottingham. You will work with Solution Architects, Sales and Service Delivery to develop managed service offerings, prepare quotations, and support tender responses while presenting services to customers.

The role blends technical understanding with customer-facing activities, enabling collaboration across teams and opportunities to grow into greater responsibility in pre-sales and service solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT services context including IT support, infrastructure, service delivery or service management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with good organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer meetings, presenting managed and professional service offerings.
• Lead initial discovery discussions to understand requirements and priorities.
• Translate customer needs into practical service solutions aligned with capabilities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, RFIs and RFPs.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales and technical teams on opportunities.
• Coordinate internal contributions to proposals and ensure timely delivery.
• Support pricing activities to ensure commercial viability and deliverability.
• Document requirements, scope and commitments accurately.
• Grow knowledge of managed services, service design and pre-sales.
