Job summary

4Site Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Pre-Contracts Manager to own the pre-construction process for prestigious London fit-out projects.

Based near Liverpool Street, you will lead tender activities, coordinate with estimating, commercial and design teams, and drive commercially sound tenders from enquiry to award. The role requires strong design & build experience in commercial fit-out, and a proven ability to manage multiple tenders while engaging clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a pre-construction or pre-contracts role within a main contractor environment.
• Strong design & build experience within commercial fit-out, ideally across CAT A and CAT B projects.
• A good understanding of the London fit-out market, including tendering, procurement and subcontractor packages.
• Experience coordinating design, commercial and estimating teams during the tender process.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify project risks and opportunities.
• Confident communicating with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple tenders at different stages.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design development, value engineering and buildability reviews on design & build projects.
• Prepare tender programmes, preliminaries, cost plans and supporting documentation.
• Attend client meetings and presentations, helping build relationships and strengthen future opportunities.
• Identify commercial risks and ensure these are addressed before projects move into delivery.
• Support business development by maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and helping secure new projects.
• Ensure a smooth handover to the delivery team once contracts are secured.

4Site Recruitment are representing an established London construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects. Working across CAT A, CAT B and design & build schemes, they have built a solid portfolio of prestigious projects and continue to grow their presence across the London market.

They re now looking for an experienced Pre-Contracts Manager to take ownership of the pre-construction process, working closely with the directors, commercial team and external design consultants to help secure and deliver new business.
