Friarsgate Practice in Winchester is seeking a Practice Nurse to join a busy team of Nurses and HCAs. The role covers clinical nursing, immunisations and holistic health promotion within a supportive practice environment.

You will deliver nursing treatments, assessments and screening, work to NICE guidelines, and participate in team meetings. UK Registration and a commitment to ongoing professional development are expected.

Formación

• Experience working in General Practice.
• Ability to administer adult, child and NHS travel immunisations.
• Experience giving routine injectable treatments.
• Wound care assessment and suture removal.
• Health promotion and screening including cervical cytology and ECG.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain high standards of care per NICE guidance.
• Provide nursing treatment, assessments and screening.
• Adhere to local Child Protection Procedures.
• Be flexible to varying caseload and Practice emergencies.
• Advise patients on general health care and health education.
