Job summary

Harcourt Medical Centre in Salisbury, Wiltshire invites applications from a dynamic Practice Nurse to join our friendly team. The post holder will deliver practice nurse services including chronic disease management and treatment room care, working closely with GPs to provide high-quality patient care.

Key duties include ECGs, immunisations, wound care, venepuncture and health checks, with responsibilities across general nursing tasks and patient education within NHS settings.

Qualifications

• NMC registered and eligible to practise in the UK.
• Experience in primary care nursing is desirable.
• Ability to work within NHS frameworks and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practice nurse services including chronic disease management and treatment room care.
• Assist in and perform nursing tasks under GP supervision.
• Provide health screenings, immunisations, wound care and patient education.
• Administer injections, venepuncture, ECGs and pathology requests as appropriate.
