Courthouse Medical Centre in Caerphilly is seeking a dynamic Practice Nurse to join our forward-thinking team. You will contribute to our nursing services and support the ongoing development of the practice.

Hours to be discussed at interview; the role involves wound care, immunisations, chronic disease monitoring, and health promotion within a busy GP setting. CAM and vaccination duties form part of the daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse qualification (RGN) with no restrictions.
• Excellent bedside manner and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a busy GP practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care, venepuncture, injections, and health checks in the clinical treatment room.
• Deliver adult, child, and travel vaccinations; support cervical screening and sexual health testing.
• Monitor chronic conditions and give lifestyle advice (smoking, diet, exercise).
• Maintain accurate patient records and keep the treatment room clean and stocked.
