Job summary

Wellside Surgery is seeking a part-time practice nurse to join our general practice clinical team. The role focuses on treatment room care, chronic disease management and immunisations, with cervical cytology and specimen collection included as needed.

Applicants should be registered nurses with general practice experience, possess strong communication and team skills, and demonstrate reliability and self-motivation. Home visits may be required in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of treatment room services.
• Manage chronic disease care.
• Administer immunisations and travel vaccines, cervical cytology.
• Collect specimens and assist GPs with procedures.
• Chaperone and support clinical teams during procedures.
• Conduct home visits as needed and during emergencies.
• Maintain accurate computerised patient records and stock levels.
• Participate in clinical audits and practice meetings.
