Job summary

Meon Health Practice is seeking a Practice Nurse to join our team across three sites. You will provide personal medical services, triage, treatment, preventative care and patient education to our patient population.

Reporting to the Lead Nurse and Managing Director, you will support chronic disease management, immunisations, annual health checks and cervical cytology within established protocols. A flexible, patient-centred approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current UK registration and experience in primary care.
• Experience delivering immunisations, cervical screening and travel vaccines.
• Ability to triage, plan and implement care per practice protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate health programmes.
• Organise and co-ordinate nursing services across three sites.
• Undertake venepuncture and specimen handling.
• Perform ECGs and provide wound care and dressings.
• Deliver childhood immunisations and cervical cytology screening.
• Provide travel vaccines and contraception advice.
• Manage chronic diseases (asthma, COPD, diabetes, CHD).
• Support GPs with minor procedures and record keeping.
