Job summary

Dr Yerra Practice at Guttridge Medical Centre is seeking a Practice Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee HR, finances, contracts and governance across the whole practice. You will advise the GP Partner on the long-term direction and ensure robust risk management and service development.

The role covers governance, information security, business continuity and training support within a busy primary care setting. Autonomy and strategic thinking are key.

Qualifications

• Candidates need primary care management experience.
• Comfortable working autonomously while advising the GP Partner on the practice's long-term direction.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and developing the practice team
• Managing HR, including recruitment, workforce planning, performance management and staff wellbeing
• Developing and implementing strategic business plans and supporting service development
• Managing practice finances, budgets and contracts and maximising income
• Ensuring effective clinical governance, CQC compliance and risk management
• Overseeing information governance, data security and Data Security and Protection Toolkit compliance
• Ensuring health and safety arrangements and a safe, effective, fit-for-purpose premises
• Developing and maintaining effective business continuity plans
• Supporting training and research activity in the practice
