Job summary

The Village Surgery seeks a General Practice Manager to lead a team of nearly 40 staff and oversee operations, business development and HR. The role focuses on ensuring CQC and regulatory compliance while supporting the partners in strategic planning, with a handover from the current Managing Business Partner.

You will work with the PCN, ICB and PPG to develop systems that support excellent patient care and maintain a positive, collaborative working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a large team.
• Knowledge of project management, HR, compliance and change management.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the practice team and oversee operational management.
• Drive business development, performance management, HR and facilities management.
• Ensure CQC and regulatory compliance across the practice.
• Provide guidance to partners and staff and develop systems that support excellent patient care.
• Collaborate with the PCN, ICB and PPG to improve community healthcare.
