The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Manager to join our team at Medivet. This is a multisite role covering Medivet Hampstead Garden Suburb, Muswell, and Fortis Green Practices.
We are a friendly and supportive team who work together to review and improve protocols. All our practices consist of one or two vets, nurses, and support staff.
As a Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success and growth of the practice. You’ll take on a key leadership role in the practice, with responsibility for the day-to-day operations, team development, and overall management.

Role Accountabilities
Deliver exceptional client care, monitor client feedback, and follow up on actions to improve the practice.
Work closely with the Lead Vet and Regional Operations Director to maximise commercial performance, focusing on KPIs such as capacity, skills utilisation, and cost management.
Ensure compliance with regulations and standards, conduct audits, and share best practices within and across practices.
Manage practice rotas to ensure optimal service levels and clinical skills utilization.
Support team success through effective recruitment, induction, communication, and engagement strategies.
Promote the practice externally through community events and other channels.
Your Skills and Experience
Knowledge of practice environments, ideally from veterinary, GP, or dental settings.
An understanding of exceptional care and its impact on client experience.
Awareness of regulatory requirements and compliance monitoring.
Experience in driving commercial performance through financial management, marketing, and efficient operations.
Resource planning experience.
Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
Leadership and team management experience.
