Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking a motivated Practice Manager for Cheltenham Pittville Lawn to lead a 5-day, 40-hour week across core hours. You will oversee operations, train staff, manage budgets, and ensure high standards of patient care within a 5-surgery private practice.

You will be the Registered Manager for the site, with a focus on operational excellence, staff development, and financial performance, while enjoying a supportive benefits package.

We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Practice Manager to join our fabulous team at Cheltenham Pittville Lawn

• 40 hours a week over 5 days
• Core normal practice manager working hours are 8:30-5:30pm
• Practice opening hours Mon 8-6pm, Tues 8-5pm, Weds 8-8pm, Thurs 8-4pm and Fri 8-3pm
• Competitive hourly rate
• 5-surgery, specialist high level private practice
• Please note that as part of your role, you’ll be the Registered Manager for this practice.

About You

We’d love to receive your application to our Practice Manager vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

• A healthcare, retail, hospitality, or similar service-focused background - experience managing a dental practice or strong leadership experience as a lead dental nurse is an added bonus but not essential
• Passionate about delivering great service
• Leading and supporting colleagues to perform at their best
• Confident working with financials (P&L, KPIs, budgets)
• Focused on delivering operational excellence: from fully-functioning equipment and facilities, to a compliant, process-driven practice team
