Job summary

PortmanDentex in Cheltenham is seeking a proactive Practice Manager to lead a 5-surgery private practice. You’ll oversee operations, finances, and patient service to ensure excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in healthcare or service sectors, and comfort with P&L and KPIs. You’ll be registered manager for the practice, with hours 8:30-5:30 and 40 hours per week.

We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Practice Manager to join our fabulous team at Cheltenham Pittville Lawn

• 40 hours a week over 5 days
• Core normal practice manager working hours are 8:30-5:30pm
• Practice opening hours Mon8-6pm,Tues8-5pm, Weds 8-8pm,Thurs 8-4pm and Fri 8-3pm
• Competitive hourly rate
• 5-surgery, specialist high level private practice
• Please note that as part of your role,you’llbe the Registered Manager for this practice.

About you

We’d love to receive your application to our Practice Manager vacancy if you have the following skills and experience:

• A healthcare, retail, hospitality, or similar service-focused background - experience managing a dental practice or strong leadership experience as a lead dental nurse is an added bonus but not essential
• Passionate about delivering great service
• Leading and supporting colleagues to perform at their best
• Confident working with financials (P&L, KPIs, budgets)
• Focused on delivering operational excellence: from fully-functioning equipment and facilities, to a compliant, process-driven practice team
