We have an amazing opportunity for a Part-Time (20hrs) Practice Manager to join our friendly team at Medivet Ramsbottom.

As a Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success and growth of the clinic. You’ll be responsible for the commercial management, taking on key leadership duties and overseeing the day-to-day operations and team development.

You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients, clients, and colleagues while promoting a happy work environment and ensuring the smooth, efficient running of the three clinics.

Role Accountabilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional client care, monitor client feedback, and follow up on actions to improve the practice.
  • Work closely with the Lead Vet and Regional Operations Director to maximise commercial performance, focusing on KPIs such as capacity, skills utilisation, and cost management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, practice, and operational standards, conducting audits and sharing best practices.
  • Manage practice rotas to ensure optimal service levels and clinical skills utilisation.
  • Recruit, induct, and develop the team, fostering engagement and retention.
  • Promote the practice externally through community events and other channels.
Your Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in practice environments, ideally in Veterinary, GP, or Dental settings.
  • Understanding of exceptional care and its impact on client experience.
  • Knowledge of regulation and effective compliance processes.
  • Proven ability to drive commercial performance through financial management and marketing.
  • Resource planning experience.
  • Coaching and influencing skills to motivate colleagues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and good numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Leadership experience managing a team.
