Job summary

Turning Point is seeking a Practice Improvement Lead to provide visible, hands-on leadership across two services, supporting the ongoing development of Midpoint while mobilising and establishing The Stewarts. You will drive service improvement, embed best practice, and ensure both services are safe, effective, and sustainable, fully aligned with our values and quality standards.

  • Experience with service mobilisation, transformation or change management.
  • Track record developing high-performing teams and leaders.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing performance, resources and budgets.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead service improvement and embed best practice across two services.
  • Oversee mobilisation of Midpoint and launch of The Stewarts.
  • Develop, coach, and empower managers and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual and quality standards.
  • Build strong partnerships with commissioners, healthcare professionals, local authorities, families and communities.
  • Support workforce planning and service performance.

Job description

As Practice Improvement Lead, you will provide visible and hands-on leadership across two services, supporting the continued development of Midpoint while leading the successful mobilisation and establishment of The Stewarts service. Working closely with operational teams, commissioners, local partners, and colleagues across Turning Point, you'll drive service improvement, embed best practice, and ensure both services are fully aligned with our values, quality standards, and commitment to outstanding care. You will play a critical role in building confident, capable teams, fostering a positive culture, and ensuring services are safe, effective, and sustainable for the future. The Role As a visible and hands-on leader, you'll drive service improvement, support cultural development, and help create high-performing teams that deliver outstanding outcomes for the people we support. You'll lead service readiness and mobilisation activities, oversee quality and governance, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure both services are sustainable and embedded within their local communities.,
