Job description

Turning Point is a leading Social Enterprise which supports people with a wide range of complex needs across Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Substance Use and Public Health. We are currently recruiting for a Team Manager to work in our Integrated Substance Use Service in North East Lincolnshire, where you’ll have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support who are experiencing difficulties from drugs and alcohol usage. You will support the service in maintaining excellent standards of treatment and care for our service users and will oversee the implementation of treatment pathways for people affected by their use of substances. You will work with a range of partner agencies and represent the service in a variety of settings, promoting the service and encouraging referrals. The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and engaging and have a real passion for supporting people. You must have experience of line management/supervision/coaching and a strong understanding of treatment services and service user engagement. It is a busy role so excellent time management skills and experience in report writing and analysing data and records will be important. The ideal candidate will have:Strong leadership skills and a track record of managing teams and supervising staff at different levelsKnowledge, skills and experience of working with people who have experienced difficulties related to their substance use and delivering recognised psychosocial interventions/approachesExcellent facilitation skills including the ability to lead a discussion to constructive conclusions and the ability to feedbackExperience of successfully managing a wide range of stakeholder relationshipsTime management skills – working under very tight deadlines with changing prioritiesExperience in evaluation techniques and the ability to adapt practice to get results.
