Fixed-term maternity cover of at least 13 months at The Wapping Group Practice, a GP surgery that also trains nurses, registrars and medical students. The post centres on running the practice's QOF, LES and patient recall systems, including EMIS coding, appointment slots and childhood immunisation and cervical screening recalls. Hours flex between 25 and 37.5 a week, and training is given for parts of the job the appointee has not done before. Candidates need strong IT and organisation skills rather than experience of every aspect.

- Send validation letters to patients who do not respond to repeated recall attempts, per practice protocol
- Review and adjust EMIS appointment sessions and plan capacity with clinicians against recall demand
- Ensure QOF and LES activity is accurately coded, and resolve missing or incorrect codes with clinicians
- Carry out data quality checks and maintain EMIS searches, reports and performance dashboards
- Oversee childhood immunisation recalls and targets, working with clinicians to improve uptake
- Manage cervical screening recalls, including CSMS referrals and coding of colposcopy correspondence
