We are excited to offer an opportunity at Thomas Cook, a renowned travel brand revitalized as an online-only business in 2020. We seek a dynamic PR & Communications Specialist to lead UK media efforts, working within the international eSky Group structure.

This role is part of the central PR Team, collaborating with the Group PR Manager and PR Coordinator for Poland & CEE. You will focus on UK brand storytelling, aligning with the international communication strategy to ensure consistency and creativity across markets.

YOUR MISSION

As our UK PR & Communications Specialist, you will be the primary contact for Thomas Cook’s external communications in the UK, responsible for:

  • Developing and executing PR plans tailored to the UK market, aligned with the overall group strategy.
  • Managing media relations, handling press inquiries, and proactive outreach as the UK press office lead.
  • Building relationships with lifestyle, travel, and consumer media to secure coverage.
  • Creating compelling stories based on trends and customer insights.
  • Supporting integrated marketing campaigns through collaboration with other teams.
  • Representing the brand through press briefings, media trips, and events.
  • Assisting in crisis communication alongside the Group PR Manager.
  • Collaborating with international PR colleagues to share insights and coordinate multi-market campaigns.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Possess 3-5 years of experience in consumer or brand communications, preferably in travel, lifestyle, or retail sectors.
  • Proven media relations skills with a history of securing impactful press coverage.
  • Excellent communicator in written and spoken English, confident and adaptable.
  • Organized, proactive, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Insight-driven, curious, and capable of translating data into creative ideas.
  • A collaborative team player with international awareness and cross-border teamwork experience.
