Pitch is working in partnership with a leading Derby-based PR and communications agency to support their expansion with the addition of a talented PR Account Director.

This agency works with a diverse portfolio of B2B clients across sectors including logistics, pharma, and construction. Established for many years, they have a great reputation and long-standing client and media relationships. The senior team is keen to grow and develop the business and is looking for an ambitious Account Director to support this growth, offering the opportunity to join their leadership team and shape the future of the business.

As their PR Account Director, you’ll be:

• Leading a team to deliver PR and social media campaigns for B2B clients.
• Working strategically with senior stakeholders to develop PR and communications strategies.
• Supporting your team daily, mentoring and guiding their ongoing development.
• Maximising revenue within existing clients and supporting new business pitches.
• Engaging in both hands-on and strategic activities, including day-to-day details.

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• Has a strong B2B PR background, gained in an agency or in-house role.
• Is a proven team leader, inspiring and motivating teams by example.
• Has excellent client management skills, with a strategic and commercial mindset.
