Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Technical Sales Manager with PPE expertise to drive new business and manage national accounts. You will promote above-the-neck PPE solutions, build relationships with decision-makers and demonstrate technical PPE knowledge to tailor protective solutions for customers.

The role requires strong sales, negotiation and presentation skills, plus willingness to travel nationwide to engage with clients and close deals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales role within PPE, safety equipment or protective workwear sector.
• Specific experience selling above-the-neck PPE solutions (head, eye, face, hearing or respiratory protection).
• Strong understanding of technical PPE products and their applications.
• Experience developing new business and managing customer relationships.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proactive, commercially minded with a focus on achieving sales targets.
• Willingness to travel nationally for customer visits and business development.

Responsibilities

• Developing new business opportunities across the UK for technical PPE and workwear solutions.
• Promoting specialist above-the-neck PPE products and protection solutions.
• Identifying potential customers and building relationships with key decision-makers.
• Managing and growing existing customer accounts to maximise sales opportunities.
• Understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate technical solutions.
• Conducting customer visits, product demonstrations and presentations.
• Working closely with customers to understand their operational requirements, industry standards and PPE needs.
• Preparing quotations, negotiating commercial agreements and closing sales.
• Achieving sales targets and contributing to the wider growth of the business.
• Keeping up to date with industry developments, customer requirements and product innovations.
