Job summary

PPA Cover Teacher - Primary, Newmarket, November 2026 start

A welcoming and well-established two-form entry primary school in Newmarket is seeking a motivated and engaging PPA Cover Teacher to join their team from November 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced primary teacher looking to take on a new challenge without the demands of full-time class teaching.

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will work across year groups to deliver pre-planned lessons and provide essential classroom continuity. This PPA Cover Teacher role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and collaborating with colleagues.

Requirements:

• Holds qualified teacher status in the UK (QTS)
• Has at least 1 year of experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Confident delivering lessons across both Key Stage 1 & 2
• Comfortable with classroom management and adapting to different age groups.

Key Details | PPA Cover Teacher:

• Role: PPA Cover Teacher
• Location:Newmarket
• Start Date: November 2026
• Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
• Pay: £140 to £160 per day (PAYE)
