Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd seeks a part-time Primary PPA Teacher to provide PPA cover across the whole school from EYFS to Year 6. The role starts in September 2026 and is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers.

You will join a supportive team, delivering cover and contributing to planning, preparation, and subject leadership during non-contact time. Excellent teamwork and a passion for pupil progress are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS and recent experience with primary school aged children required.
• Full DBS clearance.
• Two references to support recent teaching employment.
• Flexible and adaptable attitude with a passion for pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Cover PPA sessions across EYFS to Year 6, supporting class teachers.
• Work as part of a team to maintain smooth teaching across the school.

Job description

Vision for Education are currently looking for a part-time Primary PPA Teacher to work 3 days per week at a Primary school on the outskirts of March.

The School and Role

The role of Primary PPA Teacher is starting in September 2026 and the desired candidate will be working across the whole school (EYFS - Year 6) to cover PPA sessions for class teachers. This role would be suitable for both ECTs and experienced Teachers. This role has arisen as the school are keen to boost the work life balance of their staff, providing addtional non contact time to allow teachers to complete lesson planning, preparation as well as subject leadership.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience of working with primary school aged children
• Full DBS clearance
• Two references to support recent teaching employment
• A flexible and adaptable attitude to working
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
