Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated PPA Teacher to support our partner primary school in Ramsey, three days per week.

You'll deliver high-quality KS1 and KS2 lessons during Planning, Preparation and Assessment time, provide engaging, age-appropriate activities, and maintain an inclusive classroom environment. QTS is required, with DBS Update Service preferred. PAYE rates apply and ongoing support is provided.

Qualifications

• QTS in the UK is required.
• Experience teaching KS1 and KS2.
• Confidence teaching across different primary year groups.
• Positive and adaptable approach to classroom management.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete clearance.
• Two positive references covering recent teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2 during Planning, Preparation and Assessment time (PPA).
• Provide PPA cover for class teachers and ensure students receive high-quality teaching.
• Adapt lessons to different year groups and maintain an inclusive classroom environment.
• Deliver light marking and assessment in line with school expectations.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Teacher to work in a friendly and supportive primary school in Ramsey, three days per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher, someone returning to teaching after a break, or a teacher looking to reduce their working week while still enjoying the rewards of being in the classroom.

Working across KS1 and KS2, you'll provide PPA cover for class teachers and help ensure pupils continue to receive engaging, high-quality teaching throughout the school week.

The role

As a PPA Teacher, you'll work across different classes within the school, covering teachers during their allocated Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.

You'll deliver engaging lessons, adapt confidently to different year groups and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils can continue to learn and thrive.

The role is three days per week, during normal school hours, and offers the consistency of working within the same school while still enjoying the variety of teaching across different classes and year groups.

Planning will be provided, although you may be expected to adapt lessons where appropriate and complete light marking and assessment in line with the school's expectations.

You'll be joining a welcoming and supportive school team, with Teaching Assistants available within classes where appropriate.
