Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a specialist Primary school in Oldbury by sourcing a PPA Cover Teacher for immediate start. The role is part-time, long-term, covering planning, preparation and assessment time and delivering pre-planned lessons for pupils with PMLD.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have Primary teaching experience, strong behaviour management, and a patient, adaptable approach to meet the needs of pupils with learning difficulties.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and primary teaching experience.
• Experience supporting pupils with PMLD and additional learning needs.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons across the Primary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom cover during teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment time.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Ensure continuity of learning for pupils with PMLD.
